Commentary
Many casinos in the Las Vegas area have slot incentives aimed at increasing play on both their slot and video poker machines. Such incentives can be almost endlessly varied. Most of the other pages of information here, such as Multiple Slot Point Promotions and Funbooks, are actually a type of slot/VP incentive; this page contains information that didn't fit into one of the many other categories.

Most slot/VP incentives are aimed at certain groups of individuals. The incentives are commonly designed 1) to get novices started at point accumulation (covered on the Slot Club Sign-Up Bonuses page), or 2) to encourage players to remain at machines for additional periods of time waiting for some event to occur, e.g. four of a kind, a certain number of slot points, etc. and, in a few rare cases, 3) to encourage former customers to return to the joys of slot play.

Never hesitate to phone a casino's slot club (even long distance on their 1-800 line) if you have a question or concern relative to your slot account or about any promotion at the casino. If the personnel cannot answer your inquiry, they should redirect your call appropriately or phone back later with the correct information.
