Mad Money Club

I have found the Mad Money Club a little maddening. The confusion was not the intent of its innovators but is the result of several coincident programs at Lady Luck.

First, let us note that the slot club at Lady Luck distributes a funbook to club members and uses the computer to monitor that activity. You are limited to one funbook per week. The funbook has several slot/video poker coupons.

If you have an e-mail address, you should obtain a funbook and use the appropriate coupon which awards 250 points for supplying this information to the slot club.

When you join the Mad Money Club, you will receive a slot card to insert in the reader of any gaming machine you decide to play. After the slot card is inserted, your name and current slot point total will appear. Then a fresh count should appear.

The system at Lady Luck is geared to wish you a happy birthday on the card reader when the appropriate date occurs.

What may make the casino's literature somewhat confusing is the fact that there is what is called a VIP Program. This program has several levels of participation which are described by colors: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Burgundy. The colors are not reflected in the color of the slot cards.

The VIP Program is actually distinct from the slot club but being in the VIP Program will affect the benefits you receive from your slot play.

The VIP Program involves substantial play as the following table indicates.

The slot points may be deleted after 12 months without play.
