The plan is to someday have a system whereby when you enroll in MGM Mirage Players Club, you will have a card that is valid at Bellagio, Golden Nugget, MGM Grand, The Mirage, New York-New York, and Treasure Island. Then the points earned at any location can be used at any of the other locations.

The institution of this change has repeatedly been delayed. The plan is now to implement the alteration at the end of 2003. Only time will tell if another delay occurs.

When the curremt slot card is properly inserted into the card reader, your name and current total slot points will be revealed followed by wishes of good luck. However, no countdown will be presented. Instead the machine will display the current session total whenever the play results in a new session total.

Accounts with no activity for 18 months are terminated.

Generally, slot points can only be used to obtain cash. Buffets and other meals are available by request or if offered by a host. The granting of the request is based primarily on one's current slot and video poker activity.
