We are happy to announce that the long awaited Precision Video Poker software will soon be available. It is currently in the alpha test stage. Please watch here for announcement of its release.

Perhaps the most important feature is that this is the first video poker game and analysis application for both Macintosh and Windows.

Some of the features include:

  • Large, clean 800 x 600 color display
  • Game can be played entirely with either the keyboard or the mouse
  • Complete 1-coin through 5-coin payoff tables
  • Allows playing most of the "draw poker" types of games
  • Very fast game analysis (under four seconds on most modern computers)
  • Gives final hand probabilities to eight decimal places
  • Complete 32-way hand analysis (under one second)
  • All analyses done on a per-coin basis with maximum coins played
  • Gives true Expected Values (instead of expected payoff for 5-coin bet)
  • Easy manual entry of a hand for analysis without leaving game window
  • Hint button tells best way to play the hand
  • Auto Hint tells the best way to play every hand
  • Strategy Check tells of playing error and shows best play
  • Risk of Ruin (RoR) calculations using the Sorokin formula
  • Variance, Standard Deviation and Attractiveness Quotient calculations
  • RoR and AQ calculations can include slot club rebate
  • User-adjustable speed controls for dealing, counting credits, etc.
  • Press space bar for instantaneous credits for big payoff
  • Simple installation - just copy one folder to your hard drive
  • Nothing is stored anywhere else in your system
  • More than a dozen common games included in the basic package

The Macintosh version runs on any Power PC with OS 8.5.1 or later.
The PC version runs on any Pentium with Windows 95b or later.
